canadian hip hop is dope true indeed. I'm from the Northern Marianas Islands in the Pacific and I've been bumping Kardinal, Choc, big Sox Saukrates in my deck since '96. However, don't forget the real artists repping the U.S. like Common, Blackalicious, The Roots, Kanye, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Nas, Lyrics Born, Lateef the Truthsayer, Aceyalone, Jurassic 5, Atmosphere, J-Live, Tone Deff, Qn5, Immortal Technique, KRS-One (still dropping knowledge), Gym Class Heroes, too many to mention.

crazy ass song from a real rapper & one of the most underrated r& b singers in canada right now.big up to akon signing kardinal offishall signing to konvikt labels.i hope he decides to go & sign some more rappers like jd era, melanie durant,anaya hayes,& maybe even choclair.but time will tell tho.
