im not a hundred percent sure, but i do know that they have not made an amp big enough yet to blow them, jackhammers are 8500 like the video said, so either way, dd99z's are the shit

the DD99Z Series SPL Subs will kill a jackhammer, they put it to 100000 watts and they still wont blow

i live way down in oklahoma. lol but yea, sonys are pretty good. we have two 10's in our jeep and they sound good with just a lil bitty amp. lol

Alright well all i have to say is sony has got some big bang for the buck. Mine just slap like crazy and they were only about $80 a peice. Yea its walmart shit but hey, i can flex my roof and windows, i aint complaining. Good luck with everything. Hey if you live in seattle washington tomorrow (sunday) at the tacoma dome there having a huge car sale, im going to see if i can upgrade my system for cheap. Let me know

yea, i understand all the amp and wiring deal, we have a system in our 70 mustang and a 87 jeep, so i get all that. i just didnt wanna start out to bad...the mtx road thunder box is already amplified so that'll cover that for now and we still plenty of left over wire to wire it all up. i plan on upgrading the subs to KickerComp 12's with the matching kicker amp later in time. lol thanks for the help!
